Built-in Safety Features

   Most new models of snowthrowers incorporate automatic stop features that will stop the auger and impeller if the operator leaves the control area. This important safety feature can stop the auger in the event you slip or fall and lose your grip on the controls. It also can serve as a "panic" switch - should something enter the path of the snowthrower and you need to stop the auger immediately, you can simply let go of the auger control and it will automatically stop.
