Snowthrowers

Built-in Safety Features

Most new models of snowthrowers incorporate automatic stop features that will stop the auger and impeller if the operator leaves the control area. This important safety feature can stop the auger in the event you slip or fall and lose your grip on the controls. It also can serve as a "panic" switch - should something enter the path of the snowthrower and you need to stop the auger immediately, you can simply let go of the auger control and it will automatically stop.
When purchasing a new snowthrower, you should inquire about any safety features and be sure that you understand their proper usage. When you shop at Bob's Power Center, we'll take the time to help you understand all the features and controls that your snowthrower offers.
Never disable or alter safety features on your snowthrower - they were put there for your safety and for those around you.
