Chainsaws

Chainsaws Aren't Toys

More so than with other power equipment, chainsaws simply are not the type of things that children should be encouraged to use. The possibility of injury is staggering when children and chainsaws unite - even with proper instruction and supervision, children may lack the strength, motor skills, and coordination to safely operate a chainsaw.

Unlike other articles on this site that offer basic guidelines for children that are planning on mowing the lawn or snowblowing the driveway, we can't see a single good reason why any child needs to use a chainsaw. Our advice is simply - kids should not use chainsaws. Period.
